What this website collects

Only what you type into a form. The waitlist form collects your email address. The venue claim form collects your name, your venue's name and address, your ABN and licence number if you give them, your phone number, your email, and anything you write in the message box.

There are no accounts on this website, and nothing is collected in the background beyond what your browser sends to any website it visits.

Why we collect it

The waitlist exists so we can tell you when Out'n'About launches in your city. That is the only thing your email will be used for.

Venue details are used to verify that you run the venue you are claiming, and to set your profile up before launch.

Where it goes

Form submissions are sent to us by email through Resend, an email delivery service, and land in a Gmail inbox. They are not added to a mailing list tool or a database on this website.

This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period.

Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone else for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first and you will be asked before anything non-essential is set.

How long it is kept

Waitlist emails are kept until launch, and then until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed. Venue enquiries are kept while your venue is a partner, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and it will be done. Under Australian Privacy Principles you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not happy with how a request was handled.

The app

This policy covers this website only. The Out'n'About app handles location sharing between friends, and will have its own policy covering that before it launches.
